Air Jordan – 3D Particle Reveal
A fast-paced 3D product reveal that uses particle animation to transform an abstract field of motion into a fully formed trainer.
Overview
The main challenge was to create a product reveal that felt energetic and recognisable without relying on a conventional rotation or static presentation.
The concept used thousands of red and grey particles to gradually construct the trainer, moving from an abstract and chaotic composition into a clearly defined product. The difficulty was controlling the simulation so that the particles remained dynamic while still revealing the shape, proportions and key details of the shoe at the right moment.
To achieve this, the animation was carefully structured around particle direction, density, timing and camera position. Close-up shots were used to emphasise the transformation, while the black, red and grey visual treatment helped maintain strong contrast and connect the piece with the attitude of basketball culture.
The final result is a fast-paced 3D product reveal that combines simulation, motion design and cinematic presentation, turning the assembly of the shoe into the central visual idea.
