This policy explains how the One Road website uses cookies, browser storage, embedded media and similar technologies.
Website operator: ONE ROAD LTD.

1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on a device. Websites can also use local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts and embedded services to store or access information. Some technologies are necessary for security or functionality; others may be used for analytics, personalisation or advertising.
2. Our current approach
At the date of this policy, One Road does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural advertising cookies or cross-site marketing profiles on this website.
We therefore do not currently display a general cookie-consent banner. We will review this position if the website’s technologies change.
3. Technologies used by the website
| Technology or provider | Purpose | Current treatment |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress and One Road form security | Page delivery, form integrity, validation and basic abuse prevention. | Used where necessary for website operation. The project form also uses short-lived server-side state and rate limiting. |
| WordPress compatibility scripts | Browser and emoji compatibility. | May use short-lived browser session storage. It is not used by One Road for advertising or visitor profiling. |
| Google Fonts | Loads the Barlow Condensed and Inter typefaces used by the website. | Google may receive technical request information such as IP address and browser details. One Road does not use this request for advertising profiles. |
| Vimeo embedded player | Displays One Road showreels and project videos. | Loaded automatically with Vimeo’s dnt=1 parameter. Vimeo says this limits player analytics and prevents new non-essential player cookies during that session, but essential technologies may still operate and pre-existing Vimeo cookies may still be sent by the browser. |
4. Vimeo videos
Embedded Vimeo videos load when a page containing a player is opened. We use Vimeo’s Do Not Track setting because video is a core part of presenting our creative work and we do not use Vimeo player analytics for behavioural advertising.
Vimeo is a separate provider and controls its own infrastructure. Its technologies and handling of information are described in Vimeo’s own privacy and cookie materials.
5. No analytics or advertising cookies currently
We do not currently use:
- Google Analytics.
- Meta Pixel.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag.
- Advertising retargeting pixels.
- Cross-site behavioural profiling tools.
If any of these technologies are introduced, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism before using non-essential storage or access technologies where required.
6. Managing cookies and embedded content
You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies, restrict third-party content or clear site data. Blocking third-party content may prevent embedded Vimeo videos or externally hosted fonts from displaying correctly.
Your browser, privacy extension, network settings or Vimeo account settings may also affect which information is sent to Vimeo.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when we add, remove or materially change cookies, embedded services, analytics or similar technologies.
